I've taken 3 cars here to get their windows tinted and on all three of them the high performance still looks good to this day (been about 2 years). Chris is a cool dude who will explain to you all the details you need to know while suggesting the best tint that will work and look good on your car. Do yourself a favor and go for the high performance tint. The price is still great and it has a lifetime warranty that Chris honors. The tint on my driver's side window was peeling because of my seatbelt but I didn't have the receipt. Chris told me not to worry and to bring it in whenever I could so he could fix it. If that isn't great customer service than i don't know what is.

Great service and did a great job. Fast, friendly and really cool shop. Got an appointment same day and pricing was on par with other shops. Saw the great reviews so decision was easy.

After pricing out various tint shops in the area I decided to go with this one because the price wasn't too out of line and the reviews were good.

Without making an appointment I showed up and Chris gave me the details while he worked on another car and told me it would be done within 1-1.5 hours. I left my car and picked it up by closing without any issues and paid at that point with credit card. The tints look really good and I haven't seen or had any issues with them so far.

If you need to wait nearby, there is a Macdonalds right in front of it, or an arcade, or a restaurant/bar right across the avenue. They also have a little room with a couch and cold A/C at the shop

My only qualm is the fact that they are supposed to have lifetime warranty, but I wasn't given anything as proof if issues do show up. Supposedly with the receipt I'll be able to go back to Chris and he can change them out - but we all know how that could go...

You can ditto the other positive reviews. This shop is very accommodating and professional, fairly priced and has fast service. I will refer others to this location. I have two vehicles and I need to have sone hardware installed, so I would like to bring them both here as well.

Just had my 2016 Honda Civic tinted at Cool Shades by Chris. He is definitely a high-energy guy that does real good work and has the best prices on 3M tint as I checked around. His shop is conveniently located in West Kendall right around the corner at Southwest 117th Ave and 122 St. Save yourself the trouble of calling five different shops to compare prices and go directly to Cool Shades to save some time and money.

This was the first place I called and honestly we went directly to them. I really guided myself through yelp reviews and I wasn't disappointed. To begin with, as soon as you call you are given the pricing with all details about the tints and the differences. Once you get there, he'll show you an example of each and suggest which one he recommends or you choose as you please. (He knew best, so we went with his suggestion) It's a small shop, hole in the wall with some nice graffiti all around inside and there's also a little office where you can sit down and wait but your best bet is to drop off the car as it might be a while (depending). Anyways, Chris was super nice, very down to earth and honest. What I loved the most is that he refused to let us pay before the job was done, he wanted us to check all the work, gave us instructions regarding the tints and if any issues (which he guaranteed we won't!) we are more than welcomed to come back and he'll gladly fix it. He really does take pride in what he does and is confident. I definitely recommend coming here because you get great service, pricing and quality.

I recently requested quotes for tints on yelp. Despite receiving several cheaper quotes for tint installation, ultimately I chose this company. I requested a quote and immediately received a response. Not only that, Chris took the time to spell out exactly what he was offering & what I would be getting & for what price. I really liked that he did that & it made it easier to decide who was he best option. When I arrived there, someone took the time to show me the different window tints until we decided on the best option. It took 1.5 hours to install just as they said and they did a great job! Found this place by chance on Yelp. I read the reviews and immediately was pleased. So i called Chris for a quote and he immediately answered the phone and gave me a quote and a time on how long it would take. His demeanor and his overall attitude was a selling point for me so i didn't even call anyone else. My mind was made up. Location is good located right off 117th. This is the second car I have done at Cool Shades. Both Chris and Alex are great to work with. They finishing the car quick and it came out great. Make sure if you are tinting your car to ask for the ceramic tint. It is a little more expensive but blocks out 80% of the heat and it works.

I came here to do tints on my husband's Honda Accord because of the great reviews. Cris really is a nice guy. He provides excellent customer service and is willing to do whatever it takes to make a customer happen. For some reason the tints on the back window was coming undone after several hours of putting it on. When we notified him he was very apologetic and was willing to pick up our car and Uber us to the shop when the car was done.

We chose to drop off the car to give more time to ensure the tints were fine. He did a great job and offered to reimburse us part of the payment due to the inconvenience. We declined the offer as we were so impressed from the level of customer service. He is a hard worker and it was nice to deal with someone in Miami who has a great attitude and so caring about his business and the service he provides to customers.

The service was so good I decided to leave a review even before the car was done. Chris suggested we eat at the columbian restaurant next door which was amazing. We walked back after eating and he had already started on the car. Then let us sit in his extremely comfortable sofa in his office with a TV. Im very confident he will do an amazing job on the tints. Chris is a really cool and down to earth guy. Prices are reasonable. Really happy with the way the car came out!

Brought my car in based on the good reviews, and Chris didn't disappoint. He's a one-man machine, but stripped all the (poor) tint from my car, and then re-tinted all the windows. He knows his stuff from legal requirements, where you can push a bit darker, color/contrast to really bring out your paint job, etc. He's got a separate A/C room with a couch, TV, and wifi, so you can do work or relax while he's working on your car. He didn't rush it, and I didn't end up leaving until close to 8pm because he wanted to take the time to do the job right. Overall, highly recommended.

Amazing/Fast/and to the point!!! This guy knows what he's doing... I took my land rover 2016 and in the matter of 15-20 min he was done. the product is great. and he is great! i recommend this place to anyone trust me you will love the sincereness of the guy working their.

Just got my girl a new car BMW 328i wanted to get some tints on it and looked around Yelp to see which places had the best price and best service. Found Chris's place and everything turned out great. Great service, didn't wait long, and great price. Will definitely being doing business with him again.

Very down to earth shop. The owner works hard and doesn't mark up his product. Afterward, your car looks clean like if it were done by a big name shop. I called him up and was able to get my tints done the same day. Other big shops are usually booking you a week in advance. Chris works as quick as he is cool. Thanks Chris!

Went to get my new amg C63s tinted and I wanted to wait a few days to write this review to see how the tint turned out after drying. Overall, the entire experience was excellent and Chris is a really cool dood. I chose his upper level 3M film and it is definitley quality tint. Called a day before my appointment and Chris was able to squeeze me in. Was in and out in about an hour and 15 minutes. While I waited Chris let me sit in his air-conditioned room with a couch and TV. He also hooked me up with the internet password so i just sent a few emails while I waited. For the price, convenience, and customer service you cant beat it. 10/10
